About Us
Aging Care Ltd., a private industrial company, is dedicated to providing high-quality care to older adults. It is the pioneer and reliable institution in the simultaneous production & marketing of care services in Bangladesh. The institution is incorporated under the Companies Act (Act XVIII) of 1994, as per the order of the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms. Although registration was completed in 2024, its founding journey began in 2016.

Human Being & Ageing
The human being never ‘expires’ in their lifetime. The human lifespan is diverse, encompassing several distinct periods in terms of biological, anatomical, physiological, pathological, mental, cognitive, cultural, and social aspects, among others. Old age is one such period, characterized by traits that distinguish it from the others. Problems during this period are objectively observable and solvable as well.
Older People’s Perspective
In understanding and practicing ageing, we view the situations of older adults through their eyes and voices. They are neither empty entities nor passive recipients. Rather, their wisdom, enriched by the experiences and lessons of their passed lives, continues to contribute to themselves and to others. Older individuals can construct and reconstruct realities, create and express meaning, and do so in ways that are often more nuanced and complex. As social beings, they can actively participate in and contribute to the society and family. Older people possess their own understanding, opinions, and experiences regarding life's pressing issues and solutions. They even have the capacity to cope with adversity.

In investigating the causes of problems associated with ageing and exploring effective solutions, and inventing quality care services for older people, we understand their situation as 'it really is’. We explore in a process of reasoning between ‘what might be’ and ‘what is in fact’.
Performance
We perform result-oriented care services for older people. To make the care service quality, we posit humanity at the centre and allow it to meet with knowledge while the extraction of knowledge draws extensively from basic and applied sciences. We give practical form to the scientific notion: 'the care provided by biological relatives is replaceable'.
Overview
Understanding the complexities of the ageing problem, revealing its solution, and innovating and making quality services accessible to older people require a comprehensive and institutional effort. This is the reason for Ageing Care Ltd to be situated. The company has constituted itself as a center of excellence, where humanity and science work together to promote the well-being of older people. To ensure high-quality care for them our service system bridges knowledge and practice and fosters collaboration between experts and activists in performance. An episode of invention which is inextricably linked to the company being evolved is ‘Epistemic Model of Quality Care for Older People (EMQCOP)’ (ISBN 978-984-35-3387-6). Following this model, the services of Ageing Care Ltd are designed and implemented. The process of forming the company was going on during the period 2016-24, when the model was developed by Dr Zahirul Islam. Being selected by a scientific review committee, a presentation on the model was well-received at the 2023 Global Ageing Conference held in Scotland, UK, by the Global Ageing Network (USA), Scottish Care (UK), and the National Care Forum (UK). Under the direct guidance of a group of scientists & experts (see CONSULTANT), who are also leaders in research and the wellbeing of older people, Ageing Care Ltd. has a team of practitioners who work on providing care services through a broad spectrum of activities.
