This interdisciplinary panel brings together academics, scientists, researchers, practitioners, and professionals from diverse fields, including medical sciences, psychology, nutrition, anthropology, social sciences, environmental science, humanities, and the arts. It draws on and applies modern scientific knowledge to situate quality care services. To address and resolve the challenges faced by older adults, the panel transcends traditional disciplinary boundaries. The panel experts provide insights and foresight in applying knowledge for CONSULTATION, NEEDS ASSESSMENT, QUALITY CARE, MONITORING, and EVALUATION.

Maj Gen (Rtd.) Professor Dr. Harunur Rashid is a top-level physician and surgeon in the urology field of Bangladesh. After completion of MBBS degree from Dhaka Medical College in 1979, throughout his 45-year carrier he dedicated himself to higher education, experiments, research, diagnosis, teaching, and writings-publications to gain insights and expertise. Besides, his empirical as well as clinical practices for the treatment of a huge number (approx. 4,00,000) of patients contributed to him reaching the present position. Approximately this number. 50% of these patients are older adults. He holds a hearty commitment to serving elderly patients. He has developed an older people’s perspective of urology, contributing to geriatric urology. He obtained Fellowship in General Surgery (FCPS) from the Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons in 1988. Between 1992 and 1994, he received training in Urology at the Institute of Urology and Nephrology, UCL. During this time, he obtained two fellowships, FRCS (Glasgow) from the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow and FRCS (Edinburgh) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, in 1993. In 1994, he obtained a Diploma in Urology from the University College London, UK. He has also received Post-Fellowship training in Urology from Austria, Switzerland, Germany & India.
